Android E2EE messenger contributions and self-hosted background notifications without Firebase.
Task
Improve a corporate messenger's everyday Android workflows and notification delivery in an environment that does not depend on Firebase.
My contribution
Worked on conversation interfaces, message history, groups and VoIP-related integration. Integrated system/background notifications using the project's self-hosted delivery path.
Technical decisions
Integrated Keycloak and Gotify with the existing E2EE messenger to support application authentication and notification delivery without Firebase.
Status and scope
Lesasoft, June–August 2025. Closed client project under NDA; published screens are anonymized demonstrations.
